Im looking at options to control and store my heating, and then redirect the heating around areas of the building. I have been researching fridges that can store energy so that they can rechannel and it makes it more cost effective.
Anyone know a bit more about this technology?

I have seen that it’s possible to integrate the heat exchanger on fridges/freezers into a low grade water heating circuit such that the energy they extract from the cold space is feed into the hot water / heating circuit. But not a way of them storing heat. There are of course heat pumps that can move energy from one place to another.

Most Whzan clients wanting to store heat utilise a large water store, these can be multiple standard indirect hot water cylinders in series or in some cases tanks have been specially made to fit in the under floor space. With 1000's of gallons of water it’s possible to save a lot of heat for later use.

We can supply a Crouzet PLC system that will integrate with Whzan and we can advise or supply a program for the PLC that would manage a multi zone heat system.
